Meet Jacob

The musician behind the music

Based in Brisbane, Jacob Laube is a professional musician, performer and educator with over a decade of experience bringing live music to weddings, functions and special events.

From intimate ceremonies and relaxed acoustic sets to energetic receptions and live-looping performances, Jacob's approach is all about creating the right atmosphere for each occasion. With a versatile repertoire, engaging performance style and a genuine love of connecting with an audience, he brings more than just music to an event — he helps create moments people remember.

Jacob holds a Bachelor of Music, Graduate Diploma of Education and Master of Fine Arts in Music. His professional experience spans live performance, songwriting, production and music education, giving him a broad understanding of music both on and off the stage.

Music Education

Alongside his performance career, Jacob is the founder of Jacob Laube Music Tuition, where he provides personalised private guitar lessons for students of all experience levels.

His approach to teaching combines practical musicianship, strong technical foundations and, most importantly, a genuine enjoyment of making music. He believes in fostering a love of music that lasts a lifetime, helping students develop not only their skills, but also their confidence, creativity and individual musical voice.

Whether performing at a wedding, entertaining guests at a function or helping a student discover their potential on guitar, Jacob's goal is the same: to create meaningful experiences through music.
